Weekly talks will be held on Fridays, 7pm from July onwards.

What is Alpha?
Alpha is a friendly and fun way to explore the Christian faith. It is a practical introduction to the Christian faith and consists of a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversations.
It is open to anyone, it is free, and it is designed to let people think and talk about the Christian faith at their own pace, asking any questions they want. It is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relevant, non-threatening and friendly environment.
What is a typical Alpha session like? A typical Alpha session includes good food, a stimulating talk and good conversation. It is conducted over 10 weeks with a weekend away on the sixth week.
First up, there’s… good food.
Food has a way of bringing people together. It's no different at Alpha. All sessions start with food because it's a great way to build community and to get to know one another.
Then… a talk.
Each talk is designed to engage and inspire conversation, is usually less than thirty minutes long, and are presented in video with very catchy footage. The talks are delivered over a period of about 10 weeks. They explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions such as: ‘Who is Jesus?’, ‘How can we have faith?’, ‘Why and how do I pray?’ and ‘How does God guide us?’.
Followed by… a discussion.
Probably the most important and fun part of Alpha: the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and simply discuss these thoughts and questions in a small group. There is no obligation to say anything and there's nothing you can't say (seriously). It's an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment. The motto is: “Ask Any Question!”

Important thing is there is NO pressure on anyone to become a Christian!!
