The vision of GMC Committee of Witness and Evangelism is to build a generation to be the salt and light of the world, by bearing witness, showing love and fulfilling the Great Commission given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our Mission
The central focus of Committee of Witness and Evangelism's ministry is to build a generation to be the salt and light of the world, by bearing witness, showing love and fulfilling the Great Commission given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ.
Bearing witness: Providing training to help and equip people to spread the gospel to the world. We do this through carefully planned equipping sessions and use of effective resources. We believe in the personal ownership of our people to accomplish this.
Showing Love: Providing community-based platforms, initiatives and events for people to do good work and show Christ's love to the community. Our ministries include The Boys' Brigade, Mandarin Dialect Outreach, Prisons Ministry and Reverse Missions. These platforms enable us to show Christ's love in action through our lifestyle and active engagement with the community.
Fulfilling the Great Commission: Intentional gospel spreading through Alpha Course, Seeker Service & Evangelistic events and various outreach activities.
Through the years, the ministry has evolved through different seasons, emphasis and events. The central focus remains the same: To reach out to the pre-believers for Christ. The Committee of Witness and Evangelism seeks to synergise the various outreach efforts of the church so that we can be more effective and comprehensive in our approach to the community. The various platforms continue to evolve to address the ever-changing demographics of the people around us. We need to continuously stay relevant to our community. We hope to enable and empower our church members to witness for Christ effectively and spur them to reach out to the lost.
