Grace Methodist Church WSCS (Women's Society of Christian Service) is a women's ministry to encourage and grow women in the knowledge and experience of God as revealed in Christ. We are a part of a greater body which is internationally represented.
Our Purpose:
To help women grow in the knowledge and experience of God as revealed in Jesus Christ
To challenge them to respond to God’s redemptive fellowship
To make Christ known throughout the world
To develop a personal responsibility for the whole task of the Church.
We do this through various activities such as:
Talks and workshops
Book study
Tuesday visits to Bethany Methodist Nursing Home
Sunday Prayer meet (after 9am service)
Hospital and home visitation for the sick and infirm
Refreshment counter (after 9am service)
Supporting other GMC ministries
Gifts & refreshments for Mother's & Father's Day
Annual mission trip
Also tapping on General Conference (GC) - WSCS events for leadership training, mission trips, etc
