Rooted in Faith, Growing in Love
Grace Methodist Church (GMC) began in the 1960s as the English congregation of Telok Ayer Chinese Methodist Church.
Under the leadership of Rev Alfred Yeo Chee Heng, the congregation grew and was officially constituted as Grace Methodist Church on 8 November 1970. From its early years, GMC developed a strong heart for missions, supporting outreach both locally and overseas.
In 1998, the church moved into its present building at Telok Blangah, which was dedicated in 1999. Since then, GMC has continued to be a community committed to worship, discipleship, and serving God together.

Our Beliefs
Grace Methodist Church is part of the Methodist Church in Singapore and stands within the historic Christian faith.
Guided by Scripture
We believe the Bible is God's Word and seek to faithfully live out its teachings under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Through Scripture, God reveals who He is, His salvation in Jesus Christ, and how we are called to live as His people.
Centred on Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who lived, died, and rose again to save us from sin and reconcile us to God. By God's grace, all who trust in Him are forgiven, made new, and given the hope of eternal life.
Formed in community
We believe God calls His people into Christian community to worship Him, be formed together as disciples of Jesus, and show His love and truth to others.
Rooted in the Methodist tradition
We are shaped by the Methodist tradition through the teachings of John Wesley, with an emphasis on God's grace, holiness of heart and life, love for neighbour, and service in the world.
Who is Jesus?
At the centre of the Christian faith is Jesus Christ.
The Bible tells us that he was born to a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed many miracles, and was crucified on the cross (Matthew 1:18–23; Hebrews 4:15; Acts 2:22).
Three days after his death, Jesus rose from the grave, and many witnesses saw him alive. His resurrection is the foundation of our faith and hope (Luke 24:6–7; 1 Corinthians 15:3–6).

Because of his death and resurrection, we believe Jesus is the Son of God and the Saviour of the world- the one who offers forgiveness, new life, and eternal hope to all who trust in him (John 3:16; Acts 4:12).
